Spice of Life

Variety of Dried SpiceI am cook today! More precisely I was learning to cook! My mom said: “My princess, you will become a wife soon. Good wife is a wife who can cook for her husband and kids. Not only experts in the business world, but you also need to be proficient in the kitchen! Gosh…!  I really like to eat a delicious food, but I must admit I do not like to cook. I hate cooking!

When I learned to cook, I saw many seasoning and I am thinking about something. A cuisine would be very delicious because there are a variety of seasonings selected by the chef. Mixed with the appropriate dose, and finally will produce delicious dishes.

I think, as well as a life. Our lives become beautiful because God allows many people get into our lives. They are like a seasoning.  There is such as turmeric. Although it appearance was crappy but able to give a beautiful color in our meal.  There is also like red onion. The longer we with it together, there will be more tears coming out. Like a Pepper, very smooth but gives us warmth. Or like chili, fool us with an attractive red color but makes us sweating. Or like a salt, it will soluble and disappear but makes our food not tasteless.

Is tasteless food eaten without salt, or is there flavor in the sap of the mallow? (Job 6:6)

My dear friends don’t waste them. They all give us goodness. Give thanks and do not hate those who have hurt you. Because they all plays important roles and make our lives more alive and full of dynamic.  God allow them to come into our lives to change anything that isn’t good to be good.Love those people around us, no matter who they are. As God has loved His sinful children.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

      • It is my joy to read posts from the younger people! I am afraid the coming generation will be less and less knowledgeable about the gospel of Jesus.

But I don’t worry about you, Karina! You just keep writing…

Enjoy your day in His love,
        Grandpa 🙂 🙂
