I Really Love Night

Night sky

I really love night,

Night is my intimate and quiet moments with God

When I feel very close with Thee, where I can devote everything I feel

I really love night,

It’s perfect time to talk with God privately, without any disruption

Time to gratitude for His abundant blessing that I received all day long,

To praise Him with joyfulness

I really love night,

the greatest moments when I beg to God  to open His hands and ears;

to listening my weeping, lamentation, and as a place to hide behind His warm hugs,

to submit all of my  fears, worries and bitterness, as a place to I wish upon His mightiness.

I really love night,

a moment where someone from the height watching over me,

taking care my sleep with brightly stars and moonbeam, with His Guardian Angel,

and He whispered softly :

“I love you, My dear child. Sleep tight. I am be with you”

Thank you God, I really love night. Amen

The Lord watches over you,   the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. (Psalm 121:5)

All Things Have Become New

Morning lightToday when I came to the office, accidentally I found stacks of old newspapers at the lobby of my room. Soon, I call my secretary and asked to her why it was put here. She said that the piles of newsprint will be taken by a craftsman periodically. I am a bit puzzled. “What for?” I asked.

My secretary smiled and said: “Ma’am, could you see the bird statue at the corner? “ My eyes lead to a corner of the room. A beautiful white dove. “What the correlation with newsprint?” I asked again while walked to the corner of the room and saw the statue closer. “This statue was created by Mr.Lam (The craftsman) from the paper pulp. He collects our old newsprint to be recycled and processed into handicrafts items.” She answered. Oh…! I see. I understand!

Everyone in this world always needs newspaper every day. Every one of us always needs to know the latest news about many topics. Many people use a Newspaper for their breakfast friend, included me. But my dear friends did you ever thinking that most of us need the newspapers just for one day only. What will be happened with it tomorrow? Tomorrow we will read the new one and so on. Means, we are no longer need the yesterday newspaper. After such a long, it will no longer useful. We are no longer calls it newspaper but newsprint, just stacked; it will be scraps, discarded or even burned.

My friends, maybe this time there are many people around us like newsprint. They feel worthless, being alienated and wasted. Living full of sins, even worse, they think their life was over. Actually, as a God believer, our life is not like the old newsprint, because our God never let us to be a useless thing, He always pick up and recycles our life as long as we  want to confess our sins and ask for forgiveness, God will create us into a new person that has a better quality of life.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.(2 Corinthians 5:17)

Back to the statue of a dove, it was created from something useless.  From the things that is no longer used. But through the hands of the craftsman, newsprint is processed such a way as to be a beautiful thing and useful. So it is with our lives. God never let us to become worthless. Our Father in Heaven is the greatest craftsman. He always creates us to being new better person. Whether we are believed that God always take care of us and did we believe that God was creating us perfectly? Our lives not like the old useless newsprint. If we like newsprint, He will pick up and recycles our life to become a new better one.

If our life was so messed up, still dabbling in sins, worthless, and meaningless, let’s pray to our beloved God. Ask him to recycles our life become a better life with His mercies that always new every morning.

“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentation 3:21-23
