Prayer For Father

 Mother prayer

O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time we need

We humbly beseech thee to care, visit, touch and relieve Your beloved servant, our beloved father.

Look upon him with the eyes of the mercy; comfort him with a sense of your goodness

Preserve our lovely father from the temptations of the enemy, and give him patience under his powerlessness

We handed out our dear father to your loving hand; embrace him in your warm protection and care, as You are the place to whom we trust.

In Your perfect and beautiful time, heal and restore him to health, enable him to lead the rest of his life in the fear of You and Your glory alone.

Grant that finally he may dwell with Your loving kindness in life everlasting through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen

My beloved readers, I going to let you know that for some times I will not being active do blogging. Several days ago my beloved father got bad heart attack and this morning, In Hong Kong, my father took coronary artery bypass graft and until now he still under strict and serious control and supervision of the doctor team. It would be a great honor to us you lift up the prayer for our father recovery. Thank you very much and God bless.

The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

(Psalm 41:3)

I Love you,Dad!

Talk about father, I really love my father. I have learned so many things from him. Learned about life, love, compassion, learned about how to be a good person, and many other things. There was one of the many sayings of him that I always remember and make me touched and moved. He said: “Many people said that I am a rich man. No! They are wrong! I never feel like that. But actually, I am truly feel as a rich man when my single daughter run into me, needs my hugs and in that time my hands are empty. I am rich because I have so precious treasure in my life. She is the greatest treasure that I have and there is nothing in this world can replace her. So do not ever feel annoyed if our children come to us even though they only need a warm embrace from us. Always spend time for them even though we’re busy. As Jesus our Lord said:

 

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)

In this Father’s day I dedicate this following poem to my beloved father:

 

Millions of words “I love you, daddy” still not enough to pay the true love that you gave to me. Millions of words “Thank you, daddy” still not enough to pay the comfort, your shoulder to cry on, for your ear which always listening my annoying grumbling, for the gentle, caring and loving smile when I am feeling bad. Millions of words “I’m sorry, daddy” still cannot pay how big your patience, compassion, understanding, and the second chance that you always provide to me. Even if you’re sad and crying, the word “I forgive you” is always there for every mistake that I have done to you. You always be there for me, with a gentle and loving you wipe every drop of my tears and said: “My dear, I am here for you”. You lovingly repaired my broken spirit, helped me to set a better future and let me freely fly to chase and catch what I dreamed. Your loving hands are always widely opened for each of the words “Dad, I really need you“There is no greater love than our Heavenly Father’s love and yours. I placed you in the deepest of my heart because you are so special and I will always remember you with love. You are the greatest gift from God and it such an honor for me to call you, Dad!

 
Daddy, you know how much I love you as you love me so much. To my daddy and all daddies over the world, Happy Father’s Day!

 

For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.(1Thessalonians 2:11-12)

Dear Child

Dear Child-Karina's Thought

What such a surprise for me! A few days ago my fiancé returned from a business trip from America and he bought me a pearl necklace. When I opened it necklace’s box there is a letter. When I read it, I can’t hold my tears. I am moved and crying. The letter is not a love letter from my fiancé but it was more than the love letter. This evening I would like share it to all of you. Here’s the letter.

Dear child,

I just wanted to remind you today of how beautiful you are because there is a father of lies who will try to deceive you. He will try to tell you that you are not good enough, not attractive enough, not thin enough, not strong enough, not smart enough, not righteous enough, and that you are simply unimportant to Me.

He will try to tell you that you have broken one too many promises, that you have fallen one too many times, that you have lived one too many lies, and that you’ve been going in the wrong direction so long that it is pointless to turn back now. But guess what? You do not belong to him. He is not your father. I am. You see, you are My creation. You are My workmanship. You have been borne of My thought, every part of you placed together by My hands.

You have My thumbprint upon you. You are a princess, did you know that? You are My child, the daughter of THE King! I look at you and see a precious, priceless pearl. There is no ocean I would not swim, no mountain I would not climb, and no price I would not pay to have you and to be with you and call you my own. I already have. I have done all that I could, given all that there is. I desire to be with you every moment of every day.

 How I longs for you to talk to Me every day. My love for you never grows cold. My promises are never broken (contrary to what he might lead you to believe). My character never changes. And you, my daughter have been made in My image. I love you dearly, unconditionally and completely.

 I understand every emotion that you have. I’ve been there. I count every tear that you cry. I know every hair on your head. And do you know what? I even know your weaknesses and your failures and your fears. I know those hidden parts of you that you wish would go away. Those dark corners of your world that you stuff deep down, praying that no one will ever see. I have already seen them and they will not change my love for you. Nothing will. I love your heart and I desire all of it. I just wanted to remind you today of how beautiful you are and how precious you are to Me.

Father’s Love Letter

Every time I read this I could not hold back my tears. Oh, how great God’s love for us. Please read this with wholeheartedly.

My Child,

You may not know me, but I know everything about you. Psalm 139:1

One day with You

“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.” ~ Psalm 84: 10


One day with the Lord is better than a thousand spent in ease – gratifying the flesh. So often we look at people that have a lot and are living in ease, they may have everything they want at their fingertips – and be in lack of nothing. Sometimes we may desire to be that way, especially those times when finances are tight. But as we read here, one day in God’s presence, far out weighs a lifetime of luxurious living, and living to the flesh in sin. After all, where we spend eternity is what counts. You can’t take your lifestyle of ease with you when you die. What really counts is our ‘eternal soul’.

 Being in God’s presence, and having a personal relationship with our loving Father, means more to us than being in the world without knowing Him. I would rather have God, than the world’s riches and ease. Wouldn’t you?

I would rather have the Lord’s presence
And know His inner peace
Than live without Him in this world
In a lifestyle of ease

My Night Prayer

Eternal Father,

I desire to rest in Your Heart this night. I make the intention of offering to You

Every beat of my heart, joining to them as many acts of love and desire.

I pray that even while I am asleep I will bring back to You souls that offend You.

I ask forgiveness for the whole world, especially for those who know You and yet sin.

 I offer to You my every breath and heartbeat as an act of reparation.

Five More Minutes

ady413_0While at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground.  “That’s my son over there,” she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide.  “He’s a fine looking boy” the man said. “That’s my daughter on the bike in the white dress.”

Then, looking at his watch, he called to his daughter. “What do you say we go, Melissa?”  Melissa pleaded, “Just five more minutes, Dad. Please? Just five more minutes.”  The man nodded and Melissa continued to ride her bike to her heart’s content. Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his daughter. “Time to go now?”

Again Melissa pleaded, “Five more minutes, Dad. Just five more minutes.”  The man smiled and said, “OK.”  “My, you certainly are a patient father,” the woman responded.

The man smiled and then said, “Her older brother Tommy was killed by a drunk driver last year while he was riding his bike near here. I never spent much time with Tommy and now I’d give anything for just five more minutes with him. I’ve vowed not to make the same mistake with Melissa.  She thinks she has five more minutes to ride her bike. The truth is, I get Five more minutes to watch her play.”

Life is all about making priorities, and family is one and only priority on top of all other, so spend all time you can with loved ones.

Who or What do we love more?

Father and child sunset silhouetteA man was polishing his new car; his 4 yr old daughter picked up a stone and scratched on the side of the car. In anger, the furious Man took his child’s hand & hit it many times, not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw her father, with painful eyes he asked ‘Dad when will my fingers grow back?’ The man was so hurt and speechless. He went back to the car and kicked it many times. Devastated by his own actions, sitting in front of the car he looked at the scratches, His daughter had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.

Remember, Anger and Love have no limit.  Always remember that “Things are to be used and people are to be loved”.  But the problem in today’s world is that “People are being used & Things are being loved”.

Buying an hour of daddy’s time

 

The man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5 year old son waiting for him at the door.

“Daddy, may I ask you a question?

“Yeah, sure, what is it?” – replied the man.

“Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?”

“That’s none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?” – the man said angrily.

“I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?” – pleaded the little boy.

“If you must know, I make $20 an hour.”

“Oh,” the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, “Daddy, may I borrow $10 please?”

The father was furious. “If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you’re being so selfish. I work long, hard hours everyday and don’t have time for such childish games.”

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy’s questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10 and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.

“Are you asleep son?” – He asked

“No daddy, I’m awake.” – replied the boy

“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier.” – said the man. “It’s been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here’s that $10 you asked for.”

The little boy sat straight up, beaming. “Oh, thank you daddy!” – he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills. The man, seeing the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.

“Why did you want more money if you already had some?” – the father grumbled.

“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do.” – the little boy replied. “Daddy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.”

The father was crushed and he put his arms around his little son.

It’s just a short reminder to all of us working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
