Come! Celebrate with Me

COME CELEBRATE WITH ME- Karina's Thought

Hello my dear friends,  a few more days we will together celebrate the birth of Jesus. We might getting busier with Christmas preparation such as buying gifts for our loved ones, planned a Christmas party and inviting  our beloved family and friends, or even make a plan for a wonderful holiday trip. All will seem so exciting and fun. Okay, I hope and pray you will enjoy your Christmas seasons.  Yesterday my beloved best friend from Japan, Kimiko, was sending me something that really touched my heart and it makes me ponder deeply in this Christmas seasons. Right now I would love to share it with all of you. Let’s ponder together. Here it is…

As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer. It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have lots of fun, but they don’t know the meaning of the celebration. I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, beautifully wrapped gifts. It was so touching they put a manger in the corner as a part of decoration, yet it was just a manger, they didn’t know the true meaning why I was there more two thousand years ago. Even worse, do you want to know something? I wasn’t invited to the party. I was the guest of honor and they didn’t remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside they closed the door in my face and I wanted to be with them and share their table.

In truth, that didn’t surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. The same as it was two thousand years ago the innkeepers close their door for me.  Since I wasn’t invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, yelling: “Santa…!, Santa…!” as if the party were in his honor! At midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and do you know no-one hugged me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me. What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and finally I just had to leave. I walked out the door. It was no surprise that no one even noticed that I had gone. Every year it gets worse. People only remember the gifts, the parties, to eat and drink, and nobody remembers me.

Someone once told me, “Well, it’s because you are not around like most people are, so how can we give you a present?” You know my answer to that one? “Then give gifts of food and clothing to the poor, give help to those who need it. Go visit the lonely! Any gift you give a needy fellow man, I’ll count it as if you gave it to me personally.” (Matthew 25:34-40)

I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that more than two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart. I want to share something with you. As many didn’t invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, and a spectacular party. It might not happen this year, but I’m sending out the invitations now. I hope you’ll want to come. There is going to be room for billions, for everyone who wants to come! Some really famous old timers and celebrities are going to be there and I’ll reserve you a seat of honor right with them. And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 8:11). I’m still making the final arrangements.

So hold on to your hat because when everything is ready, I’m going to spring it as a big surprise! Many people are going to be left out in the cold because they didn’t answer my invitation. Let me know right away if you’d like to come. I’ll reserve a place for you and write your name in large golden letters in my great big Guest Book!

See you soon. I Love you!

Your beloved friend forever and ever,Jesus.

Question to ponder: have we personally opened the door of our heart and invited Jesus to come? On the day of His birth where we put Jesus in our lives? Whether as an honored guest, or even we totally forget about him and we just busy with our gifts and party? Will we come and join to His gracious party as His great guest? Are we ready for His invitation?

My beloved readers, this post will be my last post this year. I will come back next year. I, my husband, and our little son Andrew say “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year” to all of you. You all so precious for us and we are so blessed to have you all. Thank you for your support to my blog. God bless you.

  1. What a wonderful perspective. We often forget the real reason for celebrating the birth of the Savior of the world. Without Him our lives would still be in darkness. We must invite Him into our hearts every day of the year. Blessings to you and your family this Christmas. I have so enjoyed reading your blog. May God’s love shine on you in the coming new year.

  2. Karina this is something I think about a lot, but seeing it the way it is written here is even more eye opening. Very much to think about here, we can’t forget to invite Jesus to his own Birthday celebration… or every day for that matter. Thank you for sharing this and I hope you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

  3. This is a great post. The entire world is challenged. We seem to be chasing the shadow leaving the real game behind. I hope this will help many of us to rethink what our focus is and ought to be. Happy Christmas, loving friend!

  4. Wish your message would be broadcast around the world, but reality is it will not.

But no matter, it is a good meaningful message.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    Regards and goodwill blogging.

  5. Hey sis! Boy, your friend Kimiko really did good with this one! And I know you will be at this grand party because you remember the poor in goods and in spirit at Christmas time! I think of the verse in James 1:27 which says true religion is to visit the widows and orphans and to keep one’s self from the sins of the world!

Thank you so much for the new post from your friend! Take care and enjoy your little one and family this Christmas! Have a great evening too…

    Brother Steve

Christmas and New Year’s Blessings to you, your husband and little Andrew ~ Wendy

  8. What I do love at this time of the year is that all the stores, supermarkets, radio stations are playing HIS songs. Whether they like it or not they are celebrating HIM! Silent Night, The First Noel, Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem, Hallelujah Chorus, and on. They celebrate the King!

  9. Absolutely beautiful and thought provoking post. Love this. Hope you are having a very blessed and Merry Christmas season with your family. You are a blessing to all of us here at WordPress. God bless you, my sweet sister!!

  11. Hi sis! Hope you had a great Christmas with your friends and family! God will bless us, and does bless us, in so many ways! We don’t even deserve His attention yet we have His eternal love…I had a very nice Christmas with friends and family which ranged in age from 5 to 62 years old!

Lots of food and gifts and kindness all around…

    • Hello brother,
Thank you for stopping by 🙂 Yes we had a great Christmas here but not make a big Christmas party, we just gathering with parents and some brethren at home 🙂 wow sounds so excited from 5 to 62 years old 🙂 Thank you, brother and God bless you.

      • It was nice to see how well all of the kids were even with the excitement of opening packages! Oh sis, all the food and candy…

And guess who the 62 year old was…yep, me! We did have a few who were close in age to me. Yikes, I’m getting to be too old, my dear!!!

        😀

          • Aw, you don’t have a mean bone in your body, sis!! 🙂 I should know this, but do you run on our New Year’s time or do you have another date for your New Year?

          • Well, I’m sure it is filled with fun for all of you! Do you have fireworks and parties, etc.? I’m sure you do…

Do you take the day off work? It must be a good time for you and your family! You have a wonderful evening and we’ll be talking again very soon…

            Steve 🙂

          • Happy New Year, bro:) may your life will full of blessings from our Father in this New year ahead. Yes I took day off since December, 22 and will go back to work on January, 4. Have a wonderful New Year, bro. God bless.

          • Good for you sis! You deserve some time away from work. Hope you enjoyed the time off with family or maybe some “alone time!” There’s no shame in wanting to be by yourself from time to time!

Had a nice new year. I love watching American football, and there’s a lot of that on TV during Christmas and New Year’s. I ate a bit too much food and candy, but didn’t put on too many pounds…Lol!

All the best to you and we’ll be talking again probably tomorrow. Enjoy your evening…

            Steve

  12. Wow very powerful post. It reminded me of the story in the Bible of the Wedding Banquet in Matthew. Thank you for sharing. Such an eye opener. Christ must always be the Reason. Happy New Year. God bless you too 🙏🏾😊

    • Dear Queen Karen,
You are welcome, my dear friend 🙂 Thank you for your wonderful comment on my post. Yes Christ must be the reason. Happy New Year to you too. May God bless you abundantly in this new year 🙂

  13. What a wonderful gift from Kimiko! It challenges me to rethink so many things–not just a bit here and there, but the entire way I imagine what’s happening in my life. The center of the universe isn’t what’s going on in my world. If I hear Kimiko right, Jesus is the center, and if I’m not showing up in his world, just as I am, I’m missing the party. I’m so glad he sends out multiple invitations and search parties!Sometimes I get lost and have to be found again. Blessings for this new year, Karina!

    • Dear Sis Elouise
First of all, I wishing you a Happy New Year. May God bless your lives abundantly this New Year. Thank very much for deep and insightful comment , sis. Yes Christ should be the center and we have to admit that how often we not invite Him in our life. What Kimi sent to me is a truly reminder to always focus on Christ. Thank you, sis and have a blessed day 🙂

  14. Shalom/Hi,
Jesus was not born at Christmas but actually was a fall birth baby. He was born either in September or October. He was either born on the Day of Atonement or on the first annual Sabbath of Feast of Tabernacles.
Now about the Sabbaths and how they are tied to Yeshua/Jesus. Matthew, Mark, Luke says the Son of Man is L-rd even of the Sabbath. That means to me that everything occurring with Yeshua will occur on a Sabbath, 4th day, Rosh Chodesh (first sliver of the new moon), full moon, or the 7th day of Feast of Tabernacles.
Yeshua was conceived in 4 BC at Chanukkah (Festival of Lights and Feast of Dedication) on a Sabbath either on Dec. 15th or the 22nd. Born in the Fall on either Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpet) or on the first Annual Sabbath of Feast of Tabernacles in 3 BCE. Messianics teach Feast of Tabernacles. He was circumcised on the 8th day (A new beginning) on the Second Annual Sabbath. According to Stellarium (free Astronomy program) and Torahcalendar.com, He was born on Yom Kippur in 3 BC (Stellarium -4). He began His ministry in 27 CE and baptized either in January (Michael Rood Chronological Gospels) or Day of Atonement (Biblical Astronomy article). Entered Jerusalem on a donkey in 29 CE (Shemitah year) on Abib 10 (Saturday), Month 1. Died on Passover (not a Sabbath) on Wednesday (4th day and 4th candle called the Christ candle or servant candle of the Menorah (7 candles)) (each candle represents a day and 1000 years). Buried on Thursday (Wednesday night by the time the first three stars came out which starts a new day). Possibly the men came out of the tomb when the stars had appeared and closed the tomb after the stars came out. This Day was the Feast of Unleavened Bread Annual Sabbath. Rose 72 hours later at the beginning of the Feast of First Fruits. Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is the Messianic Kingdom at the Second Coming in 2016 or 2017.

On Christmas Eve, according to Haggai 2 on the Ninth Month and fourth and twentieth day, there will be the final polar shift from North to South to East to West.

This past Christmas was the last Christmas you will ever have.
The Day of the Lord possibly begins March 26th, 2016 on the Feast of First Fruits with the first Trumpet Judgment of 1/3rd of the planet burning.

  15. Actually, we are not sure exactly when the birth of our Savior took place. Some historical evidence suggests He was born in the Spring of the year, as December would have been too cold for sheep to be grazing on the hillsides, etc.

But it is enough to know that Jesus was born and He is our Savior! God bless Him for His sacrifice so that we could have life eternal. It’s a bit early for this, but enjoy your Christmas this year, sis.

    Steve 🙂

    • Hello, brother.
Yes it doesn’t matter to know the exact place of Jesus birth.. The most important is He born for us as our savior . hope and pray you will have great Christmas moment later, bro. Thank you and God bless.

      • Thank you so much for your constant attention to my comments, Karin. I count you as one of my true friends, a sister, and a blessing too!

        Steve 🙂
