I Thank Thee

I thank Thee

O Thou whose bounty fills my cup,
With every blessing meet!
I give Thee thanks for every dropβ€”
The bitter and the sweet.

I praise Thee for the desert road,
And for the riverside;
For all Thy goodness hath bestowed,
And all Thy grace denied.

I thank Thee for both smile and frown,
And for the gain and loss;
I praise Thee for the future crown
And for the present cross.

I thank Thee for both wings of love
Which stirred my worldly nest;
And for the stormy clouds which drove
Me, trembling, to Thy breast.

I bless Thee for the glad increase,
And for the waning joy;
And for this strange, this settled peace
Which nothing can destroy.

      Thank you so much for your kindness and it is been honor. But I am so sorry, with due all respect please dont be disappointed, since I launch this blog I has been decided that not involve in any award nominations. Doesn’t mean I not appreciate your kindness. Anyway once again thank you so much πŸ™‚

  1. Another thought-provoking poem, Karina! ‘Especially love the lines about goodness bestowed and grace denied. Trusting God IN all things and thanking Him FOR all things–that’s the crux of a mature Christian, isn’t it.

    Thank you for becoming a follower of my blog. I am honored you consider the posts meaningful.
