He can turn the tides and calm the angry sea
He alone decides who writes a symphony
He lights every star that makes a darkness bright
He keeps watch all through each long and lonely night.

He still finds the time to hear a child’s first prayer
Saint or sinner call and always find him there
Though it makes him sad to see the way we live
He’ll always say I forgive.

He can grant a wish or make a dream come true
He can paint the clouds and turn to gray the blue
He alone is there to find a rainbow’s end
He alone can see what lies beyond the bend.

He can touch a tree and turn the leaves to gold
He knows every lie that you and I have told
Though it makes him sad to see the way we live
He’ll always say I forgive…

This is my mother’s favorite Christian song.  The old Christian song composed by Richard Mullen and James Richard. My mom had a memorable time about this song. From this song she was began to know about Jesus Christ. Also through this song she want get to knows more about Jesus Christ and eventually she decided to accept the Lord of Jesus Christ as her personal savior.  And when I was child my mom often sang this song before I sleep. What such a beautiful song. Describe the God’s love for his children.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,  for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? (Romanian 10:9-14)

I asked my fiancé to convert this song from the old cassette tape to the digital track, and below is the link to listening the audio track of “HE” Performed by Bobby Vinton, courtesy, Polygram 1980

  1. Romans 10:9-14 is beautiful! No wonder your mother loved it so, and you heard it from her heart as she sang you to sleep with it! I would say it is the sweetest of all thoughts, that if we believe in Christ as the Son, confess it to men, and are baptized into His death to be raised again as He was, we have our salvation!

      • You never have to apologize to me sis, I know how busy you are! You always find time to check in with me and I know you are always gracious enough to answer in a timely fashion!

We do always have our salvation, it is the greatest possession we can have. Never lose it!!!!!!!!!

        Steve 🙂
